形态特征(Description):落叶灌木,高达2 (-4) 米;幼枝无毛或有2列弯的短糙毛,有时夹生短腺毛,二年生小枝淡褐色,纤细,开展。冬芽顶渐尖或尖,外鳞片约2-4对,卵形或卵状披针形,顶渐尖或尖,背面有脊,被短糙毛和缘毛或无毛。叶纸质,倒披针形至矩圆形或倒卵形至椭圆形,顶端钝或稍尖,基部渐窄,长1-4 (-6) 厘米,两面常被稍弯的短糙毛或短糙伏毛,上面近叶缘处毛常较密,有时近无毛或完全秃净,下面有时脉腋有趾蹼状鳞腺,常具糙缘毛;叶柄长2-3毫米。总花梗生于幼枝下方叶腋,纤细,稍弯垂,长1.5-3 (-3.8) 厘米,被糙毛或无毛;苞片狭细,有时叶状,略短于至略超出萼齿;小苞片分离或连合,长为萼筒的1/4-1/5,有或无缘毛;相邻两萼筒中部以上至全部合生,椭圆形或矩圆形,长2 (-4) 毫米,无毛,萼檐杯状,长为萼筒的2/5-1/2或相等,顶端具三角形齿或浅波状至截形,有时具缘毛;花冠白色、黄白色或有淡红晕,筒状漏斗形,长 (8-) 10-13毫米,筒基部稍一侧肿大或具浅囊,外面无毛或有时疏生糙毛,裂片近直立,圆卵形,长2-3毫米;雄蕊着生花冠筒 中部,花药内藏,达花冠筒上部至裂片基部;花柱高出花冠裂片,无毛或中下部疏生开展糙毛。果实红色,直径5-6毫米;种子淡褐色,卵圆形或矩圆形,长2-2.5 毫米。花期5-6月,果熟期7-8月(西藏9月)。
分布(Distribution):产陕西、宁夏、甘肃、青海、湖北、四川、云南及西藏,生于海拔1600-3500米的林下、山坡草地或溪边灌丛中。
