形态特征（Description）：灌木，高达1-3米；小枝圆柱形，被柔毛，以后脱落。奇数羽状复叶，具小叶片7-15对，连叶柄长5-7厘米；小叶片对生，相距约8毫米，倒卵形或倒卵状长圆形，长1-1.5厘米，宽3-5毫米，先端圆钝，微凹或有短尖，全缘，上下两面被柔毛，下面稍密；小叶柄极短或近于无柄；叶轴上有窄叶翼，叶柄长1-1.5厘米，被柔毛；托叶披针形，早落。伞房花序，密具多花，直径2-3厘米；总花梗和花梗均具柔毛；花梗长5-8毫米；苞片披针形，早落；花直径约1厘米；萼筒钟状，外面密被柔毛；萼片三角披针形，先端渐尖，全缘，比萼筒稍短，外面密被柔毛，内面稍有柔毛；花瓣匙形，白色；雄蕊20，比花瓣稍短；花柱5，基部被长柔毛，与雄蕊近等长。果实椭圆形或长圆形，长约10毫米，萼片宿存，直立；果梗长约8毫米，被柔毛。
分布（Distribution）：产台湾（红头屿）。日本琉球和小笠原群岛也有分布。

Shrubs 1–3 m tall. Branchlets reddish brown or purplish brown, terete, slender, initially pubescent, glabrescent; buds not seen. Leaves with 7–15 pairs of leaflets; stipules caducous, lanceolate, membranous; petiole 1–1.5 cm, pubescent; petiolule very short or absent; leaflet blade obovate or obovate-oblong, 1–1.5 cm × 3–5 mm, both surfaces pubescent, abaxially densely so, base broadly cuneate to subrounded, margin entire, apex obtuse, emarginate or mucronulate. Corymb 2–3 cm in diam., numerous flowered; peduncle pubescent; bracts caducous, lanceolate, membranous, pubescent. Pedicel 5–8 mm, pubescent. Flowers ca. 1 cm in diam. Hypanthium campanulate, abaxially pubescent. Sepals triangular-lanceolate, abaxially densely pubescent, adaxially sparsely pubescent, margin entire, apex acuminate. Petals spatulate, 5–7 × 3–4 mm. Stamens 20. Styles nearly as long as stamens, villous basally. Pome blackish brown, ellipsoidal or oblong, ca. 1 cm; fruiting pedicel ca. 8 mm, pubescent; sepals persistent, erect. Fl. Apr–May, fr.
