形态特征（Description）：附生植物；假鳞茎近梭形或卵形，长4-8厘米，宽2.5-3.5厘米，包藏于叶基之内，基部常有由叶鞘撕裂后残留的纤维状物。叶6-11枚，每年继续发出新叶，多者可达15 17枚，长57-65厘米，宽1.4-2. 1厘米，带形，先端为细微的不等的2裂，基部二列套叠并有褐色膜质边缘，边缘宽1-1.5毫米，关节位于距基部4-8厘米处。花葶从假鳞茎下部叶腋发出，直立或近直立，长25-40厘米；总状花序具1-2（-3)朵花；花苞片卵状三角形，长6-7毫米；花梗和子房长2.5-3.5厘米；花较大，不完全开放，稍有香气；萼片与花瓣白色，有时略有粉红色晕，唇瓣亦白色，中裂片中央至基部有一黄色斑块，连接于黄色褶片末端，偶见紫粉红色斑点，蕊柱白色或稍带淡粉红色，有时基部有黄色斑块；萼片狭长圆状倒卵形，长5.5-7厘米，宽1.5-2厘米，先端常略钝；花瓣狭倒卵形，与萼片等长，宽1.3-1.8厘米；唇瓣近宽椭圆形，略短于萼片，3裂，基部与蕊柱合生达3-5毫米；侧裂片直立，略围抱蕊柱，有小乳突或短毛，边缘不具缘毛；中裂片稍外弯，中部至基部有密短毛区，其余部分有细毛，边缘波状；唇盘上2条纵褶片汇合为一，从基部延伸到中裂片基部，上面生有小乳突和细毛；蕊柱长3.5-4.5厘米，两侧有狭翅；花粉团2个，四方形；粘盘基部两侧有丝状附属物。蒴果近椭圆形，长5-7厘米，宽3-4厘米。花期2-5月。

Inflorescence arising from leaf axils, erect or suberect, 25-40 cm; rachis 1- or rarely 2(or 3)-flowered; floral bracts ovate-triangular, 6-7 mm. Flower slightly fragrant, rather large, 8-12 cm in diam.; pedicel and ovary 25-35 mm; sepals and petals white, sometimes slightly tinged pink; lip white with a central yellow patch and sometimes mottled purplish pink on lateral lobes and mid-lobe, lamellae yellow; column white, sometimes tinged pale pink, sometimes with yellow spots at base. Sepals oblong-obovate, 55-70 × 15-20 mm, apex often subobtuse. Petals narrowly obovate, 55-70 × 13-18 mm, apex acute; lip broadly elliptic, slightly shorter than sepals, base fused to basal margins of column for 3-5 mm, 3-lobed; lateral lobes erect, loosely clasping column, not ciliate; mid-lobe slightly recurved, ovate-triangular, margin undulate; disk papillate or puberulent, with a densely hairy patch on basal half of mid-lobe, with 2 converging lamellae extending from base of lip to near base of mid-lobe. Column 35-45 mm, narrowly winged, subglabrous; pollinia 2, subsquare; viscidium with filiform appendages at base. Capsule subellipsoid, 50-70(-100) × 30-40 mm.
