形态特征（Description）：灌木，高1.5-3米；小枝呈拱形弯曲，红褐色，幼时被黄色绒毛，有时无毛；冬芽卵形，先端急尖，有数枚鳞片，外被柔毛。叶片菱状卵形至倒卵形，长2.5-6厘米，宽1.5-3厘米，先端急尖或圆钝，基部宽楔形或圆形，边缘有缺刻状粗锯齿，或具不显明3裂，上面暗绿色，被短柔毛，脉纹深陷，下面密被黄色绒毛，脉纹突起；叶柄长4-10毫米，被短绒毛。伞形花序具花16-25朵；花梗长5-10毫米，具短绒毛；苞片线形，被短柔毛；花直径3-4毫米；萼筒钟状，外面有稀疏柔毛，内面密被柔毛；萼片卵状披针形，先端长渐尖，内面有短柔毛；花瓣近圆形，先端微凹或圆钝，长与宽约2-3毫米，白色；雄蕊22-25，短于花瓣或与花瓣等长；花盘波状圆环形或具不整齐的裂片；子房具短柔毛，花柱短于雄蕊。蓇葖果开张，全体被短柔毛，花柱顶生，直立或稍倾斜，具直立，稀反折萼片。花期3-6月，果期6-10月。
分布（Distribution）：产内蒙古、河北、河南、陕西、湖北、湖南、安徽、江西、江苏、浙江、贵州、四川、云南、福建、广东、广西，生于海拔500-2040米山坡灌木丛中、山谷溪边、田野路旁。

Shrubs 1.5–3 m tall. Branchlets arched, red-brown and yellow tomentose initially, black-brown and glabrous when old; buds ovoid, 2–5 mm, with several scales, pubescent, apex acute or obtuse. Petiole 4–10 mm, shortly tomentose; leaf blade adaxially dark green, rhombic-ovate to obovate, 2.5–6 × 1.5–3 cm, abaxially yellow tomentose, adaxially pubescent, veins prominent abaxially, deeply impressed adaxially, base broadly cuneate or rounded, margin deeply sharply incised serrate or inconspicuously 3-lobed, apex obtuse or acute. Umbels pedunculate, 16–25-flowered; pedicels 5–9 mm or more, tomentose; bracts linear, 2–5 mm, pubescent. Flowers 3–10 mm in diam. Hypanthium campanulate, puberulous abaxially. Sepals ovate-lanceolate, 2–3 × 1–2 mm, erect or rarely reflexed in fruit, apex shortly acuminate. Petals white, suborbicular, 2–5 mm, nearly as broad as long, apex obtuse or emarginate. Stamens 22–25, shorter than to nearly equaling petals. Disk undulate annular or irregularly lobed. Styles shorter than stamens.
